Velux Combination
Flashings : Exteriors : Designs Made Easy - Extending the Possibilities
Combining Velux roof windows to form banks of glazing is an increasingly
popular option. Velux windows can be continued in all directions to create
a stylish and eye-catching focal point for any building.
To successfully combine individual Velux windows it is of course necessary
to marry their flashings effectively. To this end Velux have created
a series of combination flashings known as Twin, Coupled, Duo and
Quatro. These combi-flashing systems can be used with any of the standard
Velux roof window range to provide limitless combinations of exciting
design possibilities.
50mm "Twin" Flashing
For attic trusses at 600mm centres specify the EBL/EBH 0050 Twin flashing.
This automatically leaves a 50mm frame gap between the windows.
EBY Trimmer
Velux recommend the use of EBY trimmer both for support and finish
when installing EBL or EBH Twin flashings (18mm only)
