Velux Windows AVE - Combining Sloping Roof Windows
& Vertical Elements
A World of Design Possibilities
One of the acknowledged features of the VELUX roof window is that while
they look good on their own, they look even better when banked together.
One of the most exciting options is to create a glazed wall effect beneath
a series of roof windows.
Greater Feeling of Space
The AVE elements are particularly useful when designing around a "one
and a half storey house" i.e. where the upper storey floor is located
below the eaves level so that part of the room has a vertical wall and
part protrudes under the sloping roof.
Vertical elements are designed to match overhead roof windows. The roof
aand vertical elements are designed to combine perfectly at eaces level
to provide increased ventilation and daylight - and expand the panorama
of the room. Provided with PROTEC-STAR glazing, all windows can be opened
for cleaning of the external pane.
