Whereas most of the Velux windows range is designed with a specific application in mind, the GGL is characterised by its extraordinary versatility, making it essentially the simplest, most cost effective way of introducing natural daylight through a sloping roof. As excellent providers of natural light, GGL windows flood a room with natural daylight, making them ideal for a study or home office. The control bar is located at the top of the window allowing you to open and close the window comfortably from near head height. It also allows you to place furniture directly beneath the window, thus freeing up useful space. Velux Windows Centre Pivot Roof GGL The GGL's central pivot makes for extremely smooth and easy operation. Even the largest Velux window responds readily to gentle pressure applied through the control bar yet the widow holds firmly in the open position. To clean the window rotate it through 180° and secure with it's built in barrel bolt. As with all Velux roof windows, the GGL is quick and easy to install, remarkably tough and durable and finished with a clear lacquer to enhance the pine's aesthetic appeal.
